Adipic Acid is slightly soluble in water and soluble in alcohol and acetone.Adipic Acid production primarily uses Nylon 6,6 by reacting with HMD Hexamethylene diamine. Adipic Acid is also used in polyurethane resins, foam, and shoe soles.

Phthalic anhydride

Maleic anhydride

Maleic anhydride is an organic compound. It is the acid anhydride of maleic acid. Maleic anhydride is a colorless or white solid with an acrid odor.
